Samsung is preparing to add a new device to its Fan Edition series named S22 FE towards the end of this year, and it is also reported that they have started working on the model for next year, S23 FE. Today, they pleased their users by releasing the Image Clipper update for last year’s popular device, S20 FE.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE gets Image Clipper update!
S23 FE will have all the software features offered in Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra. However, current Galaxy S FE owners won’t have to upgrade to the new model to have access to all these features. They will be able to access them with a simple update just like today.
Similarly, the Image Clipper feature, which is already available on the Galaxy S21 FE and all devices until the Galaxy S23, has been offered for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE models today. Moreover, this feature came with an update that includes the April 2023 security patch, not a new Android or One UI version.
Currently, some users in certain European countries are receiving versions G780GXXS4EWD1/G780GOJM4EWD1/G780GXXS4EWD1 without the Image Clipper feature. However, the version G781BXXU5HWCH, which includes this feature, has been shared with S20 FE 5G users in Europe. It is expected to be offered to the 4G version this week.
